He trained the young lad in the arts of the blade, taking him along on his travels across Othard and Hingashi. It was only when the duo happened upon the warring oppressed nation of Dalmasca and the resistance within that Caspian abandoned his father figure, leaving him to fight for the resistance. It was here he met Captain Val, and together they set about pirating the goods of Garlean supply ships via their ship, The Raven's Rose. The duo have only grown their small crew ever since.

One a nobleman of the Thirteenth, the other a humble arcanist who got in over his head upon the Source. Of the latter, not much is known. An uprising spelled his doom during the time of the Contramemoria, being dispatched of via a guillotine. Adrift in the Void following his demise, the spirit of the unknown noble became little more than an amoebic parasite of the void. Centuries later, on the Source, it was the voidsent researcher Honi'sae who unwittingly came into contact with it. Attaching itself to Honey's aether, overtime it replicated, replacing every atom of Honi'sae's being with itself, until Honi'sae was replaced with an identically dense voidsent. Retaining Honey's memories, but having fully devoured what once was Honey. Now, Honey continues his research, not aware that he is now studying the very thing he has unwittingly become.

Through crime he thought he would find wealth and power, and it took a brush with death on the streets of Kugane before he found himself. Left to drown in the Ruby Sea, Booker fell into an ancient temple where he was saved by a sea krait auspice known as Irabu. They healed Booker back to health, and fell for him, and in their love they bestowed upon him a blessing of longevity. Now Booker uses this gift of long life to atone for his past sins, and try to do the right thing.

However, her encounter with Crast’s partner, H’naka Yuu, planted the first seeds of doubt she had ever known. Not long after, Zylan was imprisoned as her father became an oppressive corrupting Primal of Light.In the aftermath of the operation to bring Severin Devereaux down, Zylan was freed and entrusted with a relic from her family’s past: a spear bearing a dragoon soulstone. Since then, she has largely neglected herself, allowing her appearance to grow unkempt and withdrawn. Now unshackled from her father’s control, Zylan finds herself in unfamiliar territory—free, uncertain, and struggling to determine what purpose, if any, awaits her future. A strange figure struck a deal with her, making her who she wanted to be with gifts in return for leaving her on borrowed time.

He believes the isolationist policies of the W Tribe will lead to their slow demise, and fights for outside contact to become more common.
